At Paula George, we believe that elegance and responsibility go hand in hand. Our Sustainability Program gives dancers the opportunity to extend the life of their costumes while contributing to a more conscious and circular fashion model.
If you have previously purchased a Paula George costume and wish to replace it, you can return it to us in exchange for a store voucher, valid for 6 months toward any new purchase of a competition dress.
Your returned costume will become part of our Pre-Loved Collection, where it will be carefully refreshed and made available for purchase to other dancers who value quality, craftsmanship, and sustainability.
To take part in the program, please ensure that you have read and agreee with its terms and conditions:
- The dress must be an original Paula George design.
- You cover a €180 Consignment Processing & Promotion Fee. The commission covers all essential costs associated with preparing your dress for sale. This amount includes mandatory taxes, administrative processing, and advertising expenses. The fee ensures that your dress is professionally presented, promoted, and managed throughout the entire selling process. Please note that the €180 commission is fully deductible from the final price of the dress once it is sold.
- You provide the costume professionally cleaned, with a valid cleaning receipt. If you don’t have the time to arrange professional cleaning yourself, you can simply leave the cleaning process to us for a standard service fee. We’ll make sure your costume is perfectly refreshed and ready to shine again.
- Depending on the costume’s condition you cover a €75 to €150 restoration and embellishment fee, to ensure that the piece meets our presentation standards. Amount is clarified additionally upon receipt of the dress and is fully deductible from the final price once the item is sold.
- The dress must be delivered to Paula George before it is listed for sale. Shipping is at the athlete’s expense.
- The final selling price of each PreLoved costume will be determined by mutual agreement between Paula George and the original owner. The price reflects a fair balance between the requested amount and the current condition and presentation of the garment, ensuring that every piece maintains the brand’s high standards while offering genuine value to its next owner.
Once your Pre-Loved costume is sold, you will receive a store credit that can be used for any Paula George ready made or customised dress within 6 months of the sale date.
